THARI MIRWAH (Report: Khadim Ali Solangi):<\/strong> The Mirwah Peace Committee organized a protest rally in Thari Mirwah to demand the restoration of law and order in the taluka and an end to drug-related activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A large number of citizens, civil society representatives, office-bearers of the Peace Committee and prominent community members participated in the rally. The participants raised slogans including \u201cWe want peace,\u201d \u201cNo to drugs,\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cSave the young generation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rally began from Mirwah Canal and passed through various markets, streets and main roads of the town before reaching the Thari Mirwah Press Club, where the organizers and community leaders addressed the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the gathering, the leaders said restoring peace and maintaining law and order in Taluka Mirwah is an urgent need. They expressed concern that young people in the area are increasingly being exposed to drugs, creating serious anxiety among parents and residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The speakers said drug abuse is having a damaging impact on young people and could threaten the social future of the area if immediate action is not taken. They called on the administration, police and senior authorities to take practical and effective measures to control the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The protesters demanded that law enforcement agencies ensure peace and security throughout Taluka Mirwah and take strict action against individuals involved in the sale and distribution of drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also stressed the need for measures aimed at protecting young people from addiction and providing them with a safe and healthy environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants said that merely making announcements would not be sufficient and urged the authorities to take visible action against drug dealers and other elements allegedly contributing to the deterioration of law and order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rally was led by Mirwah Peace Committee President Bashir Ahmed Awan. Prominent personalities including Wadero Roshanuddin Jogi, Wadero Abdul Hameed Jogi, social worker Samreen Abbas Dashti and Firdous Jogi also participated, along with other respected community members and citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organizers said the rally was intended to draw the attention of the authorities toward the concerns of local residents and to build public support for peace and the protection of the younger generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rally concluded at the Thari Mirwah Press Club, where participants reiterated their demand for stronger law enforcement, an end to drug-related activities and effective steps to restore peace across the taluka.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
