They said nationalist groups had also mobilized to defend what they described as the unity, identity and territorial integrity of the province.

The leaders called upon the people of Sindh to remain vigilant and resist any proposal concerning the creation of new provinces or administrative units within Sindh. They said generations of Sindhis had opposed attempts to undermine the province’s unity and that the nationalist movement would continue to raise its voice through political and peaceful means.

They maintained that Sindh had a long history and distinct cultural identity and argued that its people should have the right to decide the future of their province. The speakers also criticized political figures whom they accused of supporting proposals for dividing Sindh.

The JSQM leaders said they were preparing for a major demonstration in Nawabshah on September 20. They appealed to people from across Sindh to attend the protest in large numbers and make it a significant expression of opposition to the division of the province.

They urged political workers, students, lawyers, civil society representatives and ordinary citizens to join the demonstration. According to the leaders, the protest would provide an opportunity for the people to collectively communicate their opposition to any attempt to establish new provinces or administrative units that could, in their view, affect the unity of Sindh.

The nationalist leaders also criticized the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and what they described as Punjabi political leadership for supporting ideas that they believe could result in the division of Sindh.

They called upon those political forces to stop what they described as conspiracies against the province. The speakers used strong political language while asserting that Sindhis would not accept the division of their homeland.

They declared that as long as even a single Sindhi remained committed to the cause, attempts to divide Sindh would face resistance. They said the nationalist movement would continue to oppose such proposals through political mobilization.

The leaders also referred to the history of the subcontinent and the creation of Pakistan, emphasizing Sindh’s historical contribution to the establishment of the country. They argued that the province’s historical role should be recognized and that its geographical unity should not be compromised.

During their interaction with the media, the JSQM representatives urged journalists to communicate their message to people across Sindh and encourage citizens to participate in the upcoming Nawabshah demonstration.

They said the September 20 gathering would be an important test of public sentiment and would demonstrate whether the people of Sindh were willing to accept proposals concerning the creation of new provinces.

The speakers stressed that their movement was aimed at protecting the province’s unity and identity. They called for peaceful political mobilization and urged citizens to participate in the protest without resorting to violence.

The leaders further said that nationalist parties had been discussing ways to coordinate their activities and bring different political groups together on the issue. They expressed hope that the movement would attract broad participation from different sections of Sindh.

They also appealed to people living in rural and urban areas to travel to Nawabshah and participate in the demonstration. According to them, a large turnout would send a strong political message against any proposal to divide the province.

The JSQM leaders reiterated their position that no new province or administrative unit aimed at dividing Sindh would be acceptable to them. They said Sindh was a single province and should remain geographically and politically united.

They also urged the public to remain peaceful while expressing their political views and to use democratic means to oppose policies they considered harmful to the province’s interests.

Concluding their media interaction, Dr Niaz Kalani, Panhal Khan Sario and Azad Khoso once again appealed to the people of Sindh to respond to the call of nationalist parties and gather in Nawabshah on September 20.

They said the people would collectively demonstrate their opposition to the division of Sindh and reaffirm their commitment to what they described as the unity and integrity of their homeland.

The leaders ended their appeal with a call for maximum participation in the Nawabshah protest, saying that the people of Sindh should stand together and peacefully defend their political and cultural identity.

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Leaders of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), Bashir Khan Qureshi group, have called upon the people of Sindh to participate in a major..

[4

post-15219","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-leading
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/11111-2026-09-10T183652.465.png",800,927,false
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/11111-2026-09-10T183652.465-150x150.png",150,150,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/11111-2026-09-10T183652.465-259x300.png",259,300,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/11111-2026-09-10T183652.465-768x890.png",768,890,true
https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/11111-2026-09-10T183652.465.png",800,927,false],"1536x1536":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/11111-2026-09-10T183652.465.png",800,927,false],"2048x2048":["https://paksouch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/11111-2026-09-10T183652.465.png",800,927,false
admin
["GET
