{"id":14989,"date":"2026-09-09T09:56:02","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T09:56:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=14989"},"modified":"2026-09-09T09:56:03","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T09:56:03","slug":"former-delhi-chief-secretary-rakesh-mehta-allegedly-dies-by-suicide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=14989","title":{"rendered":"Former Delhi Chief Secretary Rakesh Mehta Allegedly Dies by Suicide"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NEW DELHI:<\/strong>&nbsp;Former Delhi Chief Secretary Rakesh Mehta allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Noida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Indian authorities, the&nbsp;<strong>75-year-old retired IAS officer<\/strong>, a 1975-batch officer, was found dead at his flat in Sector 82, Noida, on September 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police said an alleged suicide note was also recovered from the scene, in which Mehta reportedly cited mental and health-related problems as reasons for taking the extreme step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A forensic team inspected the flat and collected evidence. Police are investigating all aspects of the incident, including the contents of the alleged note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time of the incident, Mehta\u2019s wife, Sumanti Mehta, was in Dehradun with their son.
