{"id":14942,"date":"2026-09-09T09:10:36","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T09:10:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=14942"},"modified":"2026-09-09T09:10:36","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T09:10:36","slug":"zartaj-gul-sahibzada-hamid-raza-and-abdul-latif-disqualified-over-failure-to-declare-assets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=14942","title":{"rendered":"Zartaj Gul, Sahibzada Hamid Raza and Abdul Latif Disqualified Over Failure to Declare Assets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD:<\/strong>&nbsp;The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disqualified Zartaj Gul, Sahibzada Hamid Raza and Abdul Latif for failing to submit details of their assets and liabilities for the&nbsp;<strong>2024\u201325 financial year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ECP has also issued a written order formally declaring the three former members of the National Assembly ineligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Election Commission, Zartaj Gul, Sahibzada Hamid Raza and Abdul Latif were disqualified after failing to submit their annual statements of assets and liabilities within the prescribed period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ECP stated that the three former lawmakers would remain disqualified&nbsp;<strong>until they submit the required asset declarations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The commission further said that they are currently ineligible to contest&nbsp;<strong>general elections, by-elections, Senate elections and local government elections<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The submission of annual statements of assets and liabilities is a legal requirement for elected representatives.
