Hyderabad \u2014 September 7, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Following the orders of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hyderabad Shahzaib Chachar, a successful operation was carried out by Market Police under the supervision of Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Rais Khan Zardari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The operation was led by Market Police Station House Officer (SHO) Naik Muhammad Khoso, who conducted the action with his police team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Two days ago, Muhammad Irshad Abbasi, the owner of a private communication shop, informed Market Police that an employee of his shop, Nizamuddin Khaskheli, had allegedly been robbed near Liberty Chowk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the complaint, unknown armed men had allegedly stopped the employee and taken Rs350,000 in cash from him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After receiving the report, SHO Market Naik Muhammad Khoso immediately started an initial investigation. Police visited and examined the alleged place of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the inspection, police could not find any evidence supporting the reported robbery. No eyewitness was also found at the alleged crime scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police then questioned the shop employee, Nizamuddin Khaskheli, in detail. During the investigation, police noticed contradictions in his statements about what had happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The police included Nizamuddin Khaskheli in the investigation and continued questioning him about the alleged robbery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to police, the suspect could not provide a satisfactory explanation for the contradictions in his statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During further questioning, he allegedly admitted that no robbery had actually taken place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police said that the employee had created a false robbery story because of greed. According to the police investigation, he kept the shop owner’s money with himself and falsely claimed that armed robbers had taken it from him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Market Police subsequently arrested Nizamuddin Khaskheli and recovered the entire amount of Rs350,000 from his possession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police have also attached the suspect’s alleged confession statement with the case information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A criminal case has been registered against the suspect on the complaint of shop owner Muhammad Irshad Abbasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The case has been registered at Market Police Station under Crime No. 302\/2026. Police have applied Sections 420, 406 and 182 of the Pakistan Penal Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The police said that further legal proceedings are underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the police, the investigation initially focused on the reported robbery. However, the lack of evidence at the alleged crime scene and differences in the employee’s statements raised doubts about the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The investigation team then questioned the employee further to determine what had actually happened to the money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police said that the employee eventually admitted that he had made up the robbery story and had kept the money himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The recovery of Rs350,000 from his possession was made following his arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The police department said that the action was carried out in accordance with the instructions of SSP Hyderabad Shahzaib Chachar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The operation was conducted under the leadership of SDPO Rais Khan Zardari and SHO Market Naik Muhammad Khoso, along with other members of the Market Police team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The police have started further legal action against the arrested suspect according to the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The case highlights the importance of proper investigation when a robbery or snatching incident is reported.
