KANDHKOT:<\/strong> At least six people were killed and several others injured after a speeding passenger coach overturned on the Indus Highway in Kandhkot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to rescue authorities, the accident occurred near Sukkur Mor in Kandhkot when the passenger coach, reportedly travelling at high speed, lost control and overturned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crash resulted in the deaths of six passengers, while several others sustained injuries of varying severity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rescue teams reached the scene following the accident and launched an operation to evacuate the victims. The bodies of those killed and the injured passengers were shifted to Taluka Hospital Tangwani and Taluka Hospital Thul for medical treatment and other necessary procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials said some of the injured were in critical condition and required specialized medical care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deputy Commissioner said arrangements were being made to transfer critically injured passengers to hospitals in Sukkur for further treatment. Medical teams and authorities were coordinating the transfer of the seriously injured to ensure they receive appropriate emergency care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accident caused concern among local residents and commuters travelling along the Indus Highway. Emergency personnel continued to assist the victims and clear the area following the crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident, including the reported high speed of the passenger coach and the factors that may have caused the driver to lose control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Road accidents involving passenger vehicles remain a serious concern, particularly on major highways where speeding and other violations can increase the risk of fatal crashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials said the condition of the injured passengers would be monitored by medical teams, while arrangements for shifting those requiring advanced treatment were being made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
