LAHORE:<\/strong> Lahore Police have formally arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Hammad Azhar in connection with cases registered against him in the provincial capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to police officials, Azhar was formally taken into custody by Lahore Police on Monday, following his arrest in Multan a day earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PTI leader had reportedly been arrested from Multan on Sunday. However, Lahore Police formally recorded his arrest on Monday in connection with cases in which he was wanted by the force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
