{"id":14558,"date":"2026-09-06T14:45:16","date_gmt":"2026-09-06T14:45:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=14558"},"modified":"2026-09-06T14:45:16","modified_gmt":"2026-09-06T14:45:16","slug":"ishaq-dar-hakan-fidan-discuss-makkah-defence-alliance-cooperation-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=14558","title":{"rendered":"Ishaq Dar, Hakan Fidan discuss Makkah Defence Alliance Cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, ARY News reported on Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>According to the Foreign Office spokesperson,&nbsp;<\/strong>Ishaq Dar thanked T\u00fcrkiye for hosting the meeting of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two foreign ministers reviewed progress on the understandings reached during the Istanbul meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also discussed ways to further advance cooperation under the Makkah Defence Alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Dar and Fidan exchanged views on regional and global developments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two sides also discussed matters of mutual interest and opportunities to enhance cooperation at multilateral forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The foreign ministers of Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye agreed to remain in close contact, the Foreign Office spokesperson said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pakistan and T\u00fcrkiye reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation under the Makkah Defence Alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier in the day, Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two Foreign Ministers discussed Pakistan-Egypt bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional and international developments, particularly matters concerning regional security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Egyptian Foreign Minister invited Ishaq Dar to undertake a bilateral visit to Egypt at his earliest convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties and agreed to remain closely engaged on regional security matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also agreed to meet on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, ARY News reported on Sunday.
