R. Mehfooz Shah):<\/strong>&nbsp;A shooting ball tournament was organized in Badin to mark Defence Day, with Mehboob Club Hyderabad emerging victorious after defeating the Badin Police team in a closely contested final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tournament was hosted by District Sports Officer Badin Anwar Ali Roshan at the Police Lines Badin. Mehboob Club Hyderabad delivered an impressive performance in the final to secure the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at the closing ceremony, chief guest Pir Waqar Shah Jilani, District Information Secretary of the Pakistan Peoples Party, said promoting sports activities was essential for building a healthy society and keeping young people away from social evils and negative activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said sports contribute to the mental and physical development of youth while helping them develop discipline, tolerance, competitive spirit and teamwork. He congratulated Mehboob Club captain Mehboob Ali Solangi and his team on their victory and expressed good wishes for Badin Police captain Abdul Waqar Arain and his team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jilani praised both teams for their strong performances and said the final provided spectators with an exciting and competitive match. He added that the PPP and Sindh government were taking steps to improve sports facilities and promote sporting activities for young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">District Sports Officer Anwar Ali Roshan said various sporting competitions were regularly being organized in Badin, including shooting ball, cricket, football, malakhra, traditional games, table tennis and other indoor and outdoor sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said the District Sports Office aimed to encourage young people to participate in healthy and positive activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Assistant Sports Officer Abdul Razzaq Khaskheli, Deputy Director Information Sarfraz Samoon, Inspector Ashiq Ali Memon, Abdul Rahim Khatti, political and social leaders, players, sports enthusiasts and a large number of citizens attended the closing ceremony.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BADIN (D.
