Rescue personnel recovered the dead body of a man, while three others were rescued after their boat capsized in the River Chenab in Wazirabad on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rescue sources said that five people were picnicking and later boating in the River Chenab without wearing life jackets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rescue sources further revealed that the incident occurred when the boat was overturned due to overspeeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A search operation is still underway to recover the fifth missing person from River Chenab. It is necessary to mention here that the Punjab government imposed a complete ban on boating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite the ban imposed by the Punjab government on boating, grave questions have been raised about the performance of the district administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
