Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Aliya Neelum on Saturday inaugurated a new 11-storey building of the court in which 26 new courts have been established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the first phase, the courts of judges hearing criminal cases will be shifted to the new building. Judges hearing criminal cases in courts above Court No. 16 will move to the new courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Four courtrooms have been established on each floor from the ground floor up to the fourth floor, according to sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new Lahore High Court building comprises a ground floor, eight upper floors, and two underground levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh, Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan, and Justice Faisal Zaman Khan. Justice Jawwad Hassan, Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmad, Justice Mohammad Amjad Pervez, Justice Asad Ali Bajwa, Justice Ghulam Sarwar Nehang, and Justice Syed Farhad Ali Shah also attended the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
