SUKKUR: Mufti Muhammad Ibrahim Qadri has expressed concern over alleged disruptive activities during the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal Eid Milad-un-Nabi \ufdfa procession and said that security arrangements would be made more effective for future processions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He made these remarks while addressing an analytical meeting held at Jamia Ghausia Rizvia Sukkur regarding the Eid Milad-un-Nabi \ufdfa procession organized by Anjuman Fidayan-e-Rasool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mufti Muhammad Arif Saeedi also attended the meeting, along with Sahibzada Hamid Mahmood Faizi, Musharraf Mahmood Qadri, Maulana Muhammad Usman Faizi, Maulana Rizwan Khan, Haji Nadir Khan, Maulana Abdul Wali Qadri, Maulana Afzal Hussaini, Maulana Mazhar Ghazali, Tehsin Akram Ansari, Hamid Memon, Haris Ansari, Tahir Qadri and other participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mufti Ibrahim Qadri said Allah Almighty has declared in the Holy Quran, \u201cAnd We have raised high for you your remembrance,\u201d emphasizing the elevated status of the Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, representatives of different committees briefed the participants about the responsibilities assigned to them and the arrangements made for the procession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scholars expressed concern over what they described as un-Islamic and disruptive activities by certain elements during the procession. They said such individuals had no connection with the Ahle Sunnat community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They maintained that the security administration should have prevented disruptive elements from entering the procession near its conclusion. They said workers continued the procession with devotion and respect despite suffering injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The participants said important decisions had been taken to prevent similar incidents in the future and that these decisions had also been documented in writing. The measures will be incorporated into the arrangements for next year’s procession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scholars also congratulated the organizers and participants on the successful conduct of the procession and the respectful distribution of langar and niyaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting concluded with a special prayer for the supremacy of the Muslim world, the integrity, development and stability of Pakistan, and the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of Pakistan and the armed forces.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
