KHIPRO: Brothers from Chansari Mori, Deh Sagh, have alleged that an influential landlord\u2019s son is attempting to occupy their land and launch a false social media campaign against them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at a press conference at the National Press Club Khipro, residents Iqbal Rajput, Akbar Rajput and Iqbal\u2019s son Yasir alleged that Ishaq Pali, son of influential landlord Ashraf Pali, was making false allegations against them on social media and attempting to have police action taken against them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They said a video circulated by Ishaq Pali accused them of attacking his house, which they strongly rejected as false and baseless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iqbal said that on the day of the alleged incident, he was in Nawabshah at Zardari House and later remained with MNA Naveed Dero, while his brother Akbar was in Hyderabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They alleged that following the accusations, a non-cognizable report was also registered with police. However, they claimed that when they reached their land the following morning, armed men allegedly belonging to Ishaq Pali were present there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The brothers said they decided to approach the media to bring their concerns to the attention of senior authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Akbar Rajput said their entire village had previously been populated in Chansari Mori, Deh Sagh, but alleged that Ashraf Pali had used influence and intimidation to have cases registered against villagers and take control of their lands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He claimed that only the two brothers now remained there and that their land was also allegedly being targeted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The brothers said they did not want to sell their land and that a case concerning the property was currently pending before the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They alleged that despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Ishaq Pali was filing false cases against them in an attempt to harass and pressure them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They further said that a decision concerning the land had previously been made by District Chairman Riaz Shah Khurasani, but alleged that the decision had not been implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The affected brothers appealed to the Inspector General of Sindh Police, DIG Nawabshah and SSP Sanghar to take immediate notice of the matter, provide protection to them and ensure justice regarding their land dispute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
