Speaking at a \u201cStand With Pakistan\u201d event in Dallas, Siddiqui said Pakistan needs new provinces in line with its growing population. He stressed that new provinces should be created on administrative rather than linguistic grounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He questioned why the number of districts and divisions could be increased but the number of provinces could not. According to him, administrative restructuring is necessary to improve governance and address the needs of a growing population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
