CALIFORNIA: WhatsApp is introducing a new password-based security system to strengthen protection for user accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How the Feature Works<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once the password option becomes available on a user\u2019s account, it can be configured through WhatsApp\u2019s security settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to Account and select Two-step verification.
Follow the prompts to set up or update their security credentials.
