ISLAMABAD: The Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) has decided to keep several weekly markets in the federal capital closed due to non-compliance with fire safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the administration, the weekly markets in H-9, G-6 and G-10 will remain closed on September 1, 2, 4 and 6. The decision was taken after stallholders allegedly failed to comply with fire safety instructions issued by the authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officials said the closure is aimed at ensuring that all traders and stallholders follow the required safety measures before being allowed to resume normal business activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
