Sukkur: A ceremony was held at the Sukkur National Press Club (Registered) to celebrate the 50th birthday of renowned artist and actor Sohrab Soomro. The event was attended by journalists, political and social figures, artists and people from various walks of life. Well-known artist Asif Pahor, also known as Gamo, was also present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A birthday cake was cut during the ceremony. Sohrab Soomro thanked Sukkur National Press Club President Sahil Jogi, former President Taj Rind and others for organizing the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking on the occasion, Sohrab Soomro stressed the need to appreciate and encourage artists, saying that artists play an important role in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
