ISLAMABAD: The government has rejected claims aired by US broadcaster CNN regarding the health and jail conditions of PTI founder Imran Khan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the government, Imran Khan is being provided proper medical facilities, family meetings, phone calls, home-cooked food and access to exercise while in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government said Khan\u2019s family members have met him around 198 times, while he has undergone approximately 30 medical examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It also stated that Imran Khan\u2019s two sons hold valid NICOPs, which are accepted travel documents for entering Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government urged CNN to distinguish verified prison and medical records from politically disputed claims in its future reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CNN journalist Becky Anderson had aired an interview with a PTI leader based abroad, who expressed concerns about Imran Khan\u2019s health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
