Sukkur: Regional Director Colleges Sukkur Shafiq Ahmed Rand conducted a detailed visit to various examination centers at Government Islamia Arts and Commerce College during the ongoing ADA\/B.A Part-I, ADS\/B.Sc Part-I and ADC\/B.Com Part-I examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The purpose of the visit was to review the examination process, inspect facilities being provided to students and ensure transparency, discipline and fairness throughout the examinations. Imtiaz Mahar and Raheel Mughal were also present on the occasion and assisted the administration in maintaining discipline and providing students with a suitable examination environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the visit, Shafiq Ahmed Rand personally inspected the ongoing examinations and reviewed attendance, examination arrangements, monitoring systems and the performance of supervisory staff. He also obtained details from the examination administration and invigilators regarding the conduct of the examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Regional Director directed the examination administration to ensure that all examinations are conducted in a completely transparent, impartial and merit-based manner. He strictly instructed officials not to allow any student to use unfair means or obtain assistance through any illegal method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that an effective monitoring system must remain operational at all examination centers to prevent cheating. Examination staff were directed to perform their duties with honesty, responsibility and impartiality. He made it clear that no form of irregularity would be tolerated during the examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shafiq Ahmed Rand further directed that any student found cheating or violating examination rules and regulations should face immediate action in accordance with the prescribed laws and examination code of conduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said maintaining transparency in examinations is a fundamental responsibility of the administration and examination staff, and negligence or carelessness in this regard would not be acceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During his visit, the Regional Director also assessed the environment provided to students and instructed the administration to ensure a peaceful, organized and conducive atmosphere. He said students should be able to take their examinations without unnecessary pressure or obstacles and demonstrate their abilities fairly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He stressed that examinations are an important means of assessing students’ academic capabilities and therefore must be conducted in a transparent and impartial manner. Discouraging the culture of cheating and ensuring merit-based examinations are essential for improving the overall quality of education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shafiq Ahmed Rand directed the administration to strictly implement all relevant rules and regulations throughout the ongoing examinations and take every possible step to maintain discipline at the examination centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He expressed his determination that there would be no compromise on transparency, merit and discipline. He also instructed examination staff to fulfill their responsibilities with dedication so that the examinations could be completed smoothly and efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Regional Director interacted with students and asked about the examination environment and facilities being provided to them. He directed the administration to ensure that all necessary facilities were available to candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that maintaining discipline and providing basic facilities to students are equally important responsibilities of examination administrations. He also instructed invigilators to treat all students impartially and implement examination rules equally for every candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that no student should face discriminatory treatment and that all candidates must be given an equal opportunity to sit their examinations according to the prescribed rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The supervisory staff were further directed to closely monitor students throughout the examination to prevent cheating and other unlawful or unethical activities. Shafiq Ahmed Rand said monitoring must remain effective and continuous at all examination centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He observed that students are the future of the nation and their success in education should be based on hard work, ability and merit. Success achieved through cheating not only damages the education system but also undermines students’ actual capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He therefore stressed that eliminating the culture of cheating is essential for improving academic standards and restoring confidence in the examination system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the inspection, the Regional Director reviewed the arrangements made by the examination administration and issued further instructions for improvement wherever necessary. He directed officials to give the highest priority to transparency, discipline and strict compliance with examination rules at every stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
