MIRPURKHAS (Report: Khuda Bakhsh Chohan): A resident of village Saleh Shah near Tando Mithakhan in Sanghar district has appealed to police and other authorities for protection, alleging that he and his family have been receiving death threats following his son\u2019s court marriage with a woman of his choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kombho Bheel, accompanied by his relative Sikhyo Bheel, reached Mirpurkhas and spoke to journalists, saying that his son, Krishan, had entered into a court marriage with Nori Bheel a few days ago. He alleged that the marriage had angered several people, who were now allegedly threatening the couple and their families with serious consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Kombho Bheel, Leelo Bheel, Harlal, Jabbar Marri and others had allegedly become hostile after Krishan and Nori\u2019s marriage. He claimed that the individuals were threatening to forcibly abduct his daughter-in-law, implicate members of his family in false cases and cause them physical harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the alleged threats had created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity for his family. He claimed that they had been forced to live a difficult and unsettled life because of the alleged pressure and threats. He further expressed concern that the situation could escalate if the authorities failed to intervene in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kombho Bheel said his family had no intention of creating a dispute and wanted the matter to be handled according to law. He maintained that his son and daughter-in-law had approached the court to formalize their marriage and that the family was seeking only safety and legal protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He alleged that the people named by him were attempting to use intimidation to force the couple and their relatives to abandon their position. He said such threats had caused considerable mental distress among family members, particularly because they feared that the couple could be forcibly taken away or that relatives could be targeted through fabricated criminal cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The complainant urged the relevant police authorities to take immediate notice of the allegations and conduct a transparent investigation. He demanded that legal action be taken against anyone found involved in issuing threats, planning an alleged abduction or attempting to harass the family through false cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also appealed to senior police officials to ensure the safety of Krishan, Nori and their relatives. He said timely intervention was necessary to prevent any untoward incident and restore confidence among the affected family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kombho Bheel further requested the authorities to investigate the matter impartially and establish the facts before taking action against any individual. He emphasized that no innocent person should be victimized, while those found responsible for threats or unlawful activities should face action under the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the family had approached the media because of what it described as a growing sense of insecurity and urged the authorities not to ignore their complaints. According to him, effective protection from the police would allow the couple and their families to live without fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The family appealed to the police and other relevant officials to provide immediate security, investigate the alleged threats and ensure that the couple\u2019s legal status and personal safety were respected. They also called for appropriate action against anyone attempting to take the law into their own hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The complainant expressed hope that senior authorities would intervene promptly, investigate the allegations on merit and provide justice and protection to the affected family. He warned that failure to address the situation could further increase tensions and expose the family to additional risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
