BADIN Regional Director of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh in Badin, Dr Naseem-ul-Ghani Sehto, held an open court at the District Accounts Office Badin to hear and address complaints of serving and retired government employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A large number of employees from different government departments attended the open court and presented their individual grievances. Most of the complaints were related to pensions, General Provident Fund (GP Fund), salaries and other matters concerning the Accounts Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr Naseem-ul-Ghani Sehto listened carefully to the applicants and issued instructions to the relevant officials for the prompt resolution of several cases. He directed the concerned officers to take immediate action wherever possible and ensure that legitimate grievances were addressed without unnecessary delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking on the occasion, the Regional Director said the purpose of holding open courts was to provide serving and retired government employees with direct access to the ombudsman\u2019s office and ensure that their legitimate issues were resolved on a priority basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He instructed officers and clerical staff of the District Accounts Office Badin to deal with employees\u2019 complaints transparently and efficiently. He particularly emphasized that matters relating to pensions, GP Fund payments and salaries should be handled on a priority basis so that government employees and pensioners could be protected from unnecessary hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Several applicants, including Zakia, Muhammad Haroon, Hassan, Muhammad, Abdul Wahid, Farman Ali, Najma, Shahzad Ali and others, presented their complaints before the Regional Director. Following their submissions, timely directions were issued to the concerned authorities for appropriate action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr Naseem-ul-Ghani Sehto further told the applicants that if their legitimate matters were not resolved by the District Accounts Office Badin, they could approach the office of the Provincial Ombudsman. He assured them that the doors of the Provincial Ombudsman\u2019s office remained open to complainants and that their grievances would be considered in accordance with the relevant procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government employees and pensioners present at the open court appreciated the initiative, saying that such forums provide them with an opportunity to bring their problems directly before senior authorities. They expressed hope that their complaints would be resolved at the earliest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Regional Director also stressed the importance of transparency and timely disposal of public complaints. He directed the Accounts Department officials to avoid unnecessary delays in dealing with legitimate cases and to facilitate employees wherever the rules allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The open court was attended by District Accounts Officer Badin Abdullah Bajari, Additional Accounts Officer Yasir Dogar, Deputy Director Information Sarfraz Samoon, Registrar Provincial Ombudsman Badin Raza Muhammad Dal, Abdul Sattar Memon, as well as a large number of serving and retired employees from various government departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
