Iranian officials have warned that continued economic pressure on the country could lead to restrictions on oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iran\u2019s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei said that if the economic war against Iran continues, Tehran would not allow even a drop of oil to pass through the strategic waterway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, talks between Iran and Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz and maritime routes are scheduled to take place today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei described U.S. claims about exporting oil through the Strait of Hormuz as part of psychological warfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iran has also warned Bulgaria against providing refuelling facilities to U.S. aircraft, saying such assistance could make it a target for attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rezaei further said that repeated U.S. sanctions against Iran would not achieve their intended objectives. He claimed that similar measures had previously failed to accomplish their goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
