Sukkur Police have arrested a suspect and recovered a large quantity of alcohol during an operation in Rohri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a press release issued by Sukkur Police, the operation was carried out on the directions of SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan as part of a crackdown against individuals allegedly involved in illegal and socially harmful activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The SHO Rohri Police Station stopped a Proton car within the station\u2019s jurisdiction and conducted a search. Police recovered 35 cartons containing 840 bottles of alcohol from the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The suspect, identified as Ghulam Abbas Arain, was arrested at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said the suspect was allegedly transporting the consignment for distribution to different areas of the city. The planned supply was intercepted and stopped by the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A case has been registered against the arrested suspect under Sections 3\/4 of the Prohibition Enforcement of Hadd Order (PEHO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The case has been registered as FIR No. 260\/2026 at Rohri Police Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan praised the police team for what he described as a successful operation and appreciated its efforts against the illegal supply of alcohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
