Islamabad: Prime Minister\u2019s Adviser Rana Sanaullah has said that the government implemented the court\u2019s decision regarding PTI founder Imran Khan and will follow whatever order the court issues at its next hearing on September 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking during a Senate session, Rana Sanaullah said that both the government and the courts, including the Supreme Court, are bound by the Constitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was responding to PTI Senator Ali Zafar\u2019s position regarding implementation of the Supreme Court\u2019s decision. Rana Sanaullah said that Ali Zafar should not act as if he were the court and that it was ultimately for the judiciary to determine whether its order had been properly implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rana Sanaullah said Imran Khan had been brought to Shifa International Hospital, but security concerns arose there. He said the authorities believed the situation could create law-and-order problems, and the plan was therefore changed at the last moment and Imran Khan was taken to a government hospital instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the adviser, the Supreme Court had also stated in its decision that the administration should make decisions regarding security arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the government and administration would present evidence about the security situation outside Shifa Hospital. He added that the authorities would explain why they believed moving Imran Khan to the government hospital was necessary to prevent a possible law-and-order situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rana Sanaullah further said that Imran Khan was examined by qualified doctors and was declared healthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He maintained that the government\u2019s position was that the court\u2019s order had been followed. However, he said the court itself would decide whether any part of the order remained unimplemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the government would comply with whatever decision the court makes on\u2019s directions regarding public statements about Imran Khan\u2019s health and meetings. He alleged that the court had directed the parties not to discuss matters concerning Imran Khan\u2019s health and meetings in September 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He criticized PTI for holding a press conference about Imran Khan\u2019s health, arguing that if the party wanted to communicate a political message, it could have conveyed it privately to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dispute centers on the implementation of the Supreme Court\u2019s directions concerning Imran Khan\u2019s medical treatment and access to facilities. The government says security concerns justified the change in the hospital-transfer plan, while PTI has questioned whether the court\u2019s directions were fully implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
