President Asif Ali Zardari held a farewell meeting with outgoing Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malkiy at the President’s Office and appreciated his contributions to strengthening the longstanding brotherly and strategic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, President Zardari praised the ambassador’s services and cooperation in promoting bilateral ties, particularly in the political, economic and trade sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The president said Pakistan attaches great importance to its longstanding friendship and strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia and values the Kingdom’s consistent support for Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the strong foundation established during Ambassador Nawaf Al-Malkiy’s tenure would continue to guide bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the years ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Saudi ambassador thanked President Zardari, the government and people of Pakistan for the warmth, affection and cooperation extended to him during his tenure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ambassador Al-Malkiy said he would always hold Pakistan and its people in high regard and respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
