MIRPURKHAS (Report by Khudabakhsh Chohan): Residents of various areas in Union Council 05, Ward 02 of Town Syed Khadim Ali Shah have expressed happiness over the launch of development projects, including the construction of paver block roads and streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to local residents, development work has started in several areas on the instructions of Provincial Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah. The projects are being carried out through efforts led by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Mehran Panhwar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The areas where paver block schemes have been initiated include Village Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur, Village Arbab Khaskheli, Village Daim Chohan, Mari Para, Krishna Colony and several surrounding localities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Residents said that these areas had remained deprived of development works for many years. Most roads and streets were previously unpaved, creating serious difficulties for residents in their daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They said the condition became particularly difficult during the rainy season, when muddy and damaged roads made it extremely difficult for people to travel. In some cases, residents were forced to remain confined to their homes because of poor road conditions and accumulated rainwater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking about the ongoing development work, residents including Somar Chohan, Krishna, Nasrullah Khaskheli, Hussain Mari and others expressed their satisfaction and said the commencement of development projects was a welcome step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They said that the construction of paved roads and streets would significantly improve transportation and living conditions in the area. They appreciated PPP leader Mehran Panhwar and his team for initiating the projects and hoped that additional development schemes would also be launched in other deprived areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Residents said that the completion of the paver block projects would provide relief to families who had been facing difficulties because of poor road infrastructure for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They also expressed hope that the development work would be completed according to the required standards and within the expected timeframe so that residents could benefit from the facilities as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to the media, PPP leader Mehran Panhwar said that the Pakistan Peoples Party was a public-oriented political party and had always worked for the development and welfare of the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said Provincial Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah had facilitated a number of major development projects in the area and that efforts were continuing to improve basic infrastructure in local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Panhwar said the ongoing paver block schemes were aimed at providing better roads and streets to residents and improving their quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that access to clean drinking water was another major issue faced by residents of the affected localities. Efforts were therefore being made to introduce water supply schemes to provide clean drinking water to the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Panhwar, providing basic civic facilities to residents remained an important priority, and further efforts would be made to address the problems faced by people in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Residents welcomed the announcement regarding possible water supply schemes and said that access to clean drinking water was essential for every household.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They hoped that the authorities would continue development activities in the area and extend similar projects to other localities that were still without proper roads, streets and basic civic facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The residents also called for proper maintenance of the newly constructed roads and streets to ensure that the development projects provide long-term benefits to the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They said the commencement of development work after years of neglect had generated a positive response among local people, who now hoped that other longstanding issues would also be addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ongoing projects are expected to improve road connectivity, facilitate movement during the rainy season and provide better access to homes and other essential services for residents of UC-05, Ward 02.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
