SUKKUR \u2014 August 23, 2026: Sukkur Police have launched a major raid operation against criminal elements in the Saeedabad riverine area within the jurisdiction of Airport Police Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The operation was conducted on the directives of SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan and is being led by Site DSP Naseem Bhutto. According to the police, the primary objectives of the operation are to arrest the main suspect nominated in the murder case of Saddam Lashari and apprehend individuals allegedly involved in cattle theft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A large contingent of police personnel from various police stations is participating in the operation. Armoured vehicles and modern equipment are also being used as part of the operation in the difficult riverine terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the operation, police targeted several alleged hideouts and suspected shelters of criminal elements. Police said a number of such locations were set on fire and demolished during the action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan said that Sukkur Police were continuing operations with a comprehensive strategy and full determination to arrest the main suspect allegedly involved in the murder of Saddam Lashari, along with all other nominated and wanted suspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said providing justice to the family of the deceased remains the top priority of Sukkur Police. According to the SSP, the ongoing operation against criminal elements will continue until it reaches its logical conclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Azhar Khan further stated that no suspect would be allowed to evade the law and that police would continue taking action against those involved in criminal activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The operation comes as part of Sukkur Police\u2019s efforts to improve security in the riverine areas, where difficult terrain has historically posed challenges for law-enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The use of armoured vehicles, modern machinery and a large police contingent reflects the scale of the operation. Police are focusing particularly on the arrest of suspects wanted in connection with the murder case and cattle theft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
