DADU (District Reporter Mukhtiar Ali Jatoi): Dadu Police have arrested a three-member gang of women allegedly involved in stealing jewellery from a shop in the city\u2019s Shahi Bazaar and recovered gold ornaments worth more than Rs5 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to police, the operation was carried out on the directives of SSP Dadu Captain (R) Saddam Hussain Khaskheli, who has instructed police officials to remain vigilant and take effective measures to protect the lives and property of citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said they received information that a group of women had allegedly stolen jewellery from Mehak Jewellers, located in Dadu\u2019s Shahi Bazaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acting swiftly on the information, Woman Police Station In-charge Lady Inspector Benazeer Jamali, along with her team, pursued the suspects and succeeded in arresting all three members of the alleged gang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police reportedly recovered approximately 10 tolas of gold jewellery from the possession of the arrested women. According to police, the recovered ornaments are valued at more than Rs5 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The arrested suspects were identified as Fauzia, wife of Ali Haider Sheikh; Safia, daughter of Majeed Sheikh; and Nazeeran, wife of Faheem Sheikh. Police said all three suspects are residents of Multan, Punjab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following their arrest, the suspects were taken into custody for further investigation. Police officials said legal proceedings are underway and interrogation of the arrested women is continuing to determine whether they were involved in other similar incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Authorities are also investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged theft and examining whether other individuals may have been involved in the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The recovery of a substantial quantity of gold jewellery has been described by police as an important development in the case. Further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jewellery shop owner Ijaz Hussain Sheikh and members of the local business community appreciated the prompt response by Dadu Police. They expressed their gratitude to SSP Dadu and the police team for taking immediate action following the reported theft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The business community also welcomed the recovery of the allegedly stolen jewellery and called for continued effective measures to protect traders and citizens in commercial areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SSP Dadu Captain (R) Saddam Hussain Khaskheli praised Lady Inspector Benazeer Jamali and her team for their successful operation and prompt action against the alleged suspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In recognition of the police team\u2019s performance, the SSP announced that commendation certificates would be awarded to Lady Inspector Benazeer Jamali and the officers involved in the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
