The protest was led by Arif Ali Khaki, Naeem Ahmed and Abdul Shakoor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The protesters raised strong slogans and said the dispute was related to a case involving a marriage of choice. They alleged that on August 2, members of the Somro community subjected Shafi Muhammad Noh Poto and his family members to violence, leaving them injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the protesters, Shafi Muhammad Noh Poto, his wife and sons were allegedly subjected to physical assault. They further alleged that a case was subsequently registered against the same family that had allegedly been subjected to violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The protesters demanded a transparent investigation into what they described as a \u201cfalse FIR\u201d registered against the arrested individuals and alleged misuse of authority.
