{"id":11942,"date":"2026-08-21T08:09:37","date_gmt":"2026-08-21T08:09:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=11942"},"modified":"2026-08-21T08:09:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-21T08:09:38","slug":"pti-decries-violation-of-sc-order-on-imran-khans-medical-checkup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=11942","title":{"rendered":"PTI decries &#8216;violation&#8217; of SC order on Imran Khan&#8217;s medical checkup"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Barrister Gohar terms development\u00a0&#8220;unfortunate&#8221;.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SC&#8217;s directions contained no ambiguity: PTI chief.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PTI wants issues resolved through talks: Barrister Gohar.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Friday accused the federal government of violating the Supreme Court&#8217;s order regarding the transfer of party founder and former prime minister Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital, describing the development as &#8220;unfortunate&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to reporters, Barrister Gohar said that the top court&#8217;s directions contained no ambiguity regarding the former premier\u2019s transfer to the medical facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said that there had been no expectation that the PTI founder would be shifted to another hospital or that details of his transfer would not be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The Supreme Court&#8217;s order has been violated,&#8221; he claimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PTI chief&#8217;s remarks follow Information Minister Attaullah Tarar&#8217;s confirmation that Khan was taken back to Adiala jail earlier in the morning after a medical examination at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims), with doctors from Shifa International Hospital also present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a post on X, Tarar said the former premier was taken to the hospital between the night of August 20 and 21 under &#8220;appropriate security arrangements&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A team of qualified doctors, including an ophthalmologist, cardiologist and physician, conducted a detailed medical examination and declared Imran &#8220;medically fit&#8221;, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Tarar, Khan&#8217;s sister Uzma Khan remained present throughout the medical examination and treatment process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Supreme Court on August 18 ordered the jailed ex-premier&#8217;s transfer to a medical facility within two days after considering his health condition.
