The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday summoned the US Charge d’ Affaires in Islamabad to lodge a strong demarche over the factually incorrect remarks of the US Ambassador to India, regarding the status of Kashmir during his visit to Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
United States Ambassador to India Sergio Gor, who visited the occupied region today, called IIOJK \u201can important part of India\u201d, despite Kashmir being an internationally recognised disputed territory under international law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
