{"id":11283,"date":"2026-08-15T14:04:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-15T14:04:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=11283"},"modified":"2026-08-15T14:04:14","modified_gmt":"2026-08-15T14:04:14","slug":"larkana-arts-council-organizes-musical-night-to-mark-pakistans-79th-independence-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=11283","title":{"rendered":"Larkana Arts Council Organizes Musical Night to Mark Pakistan\u2019s 79th Independence Day"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LARKANA :<\/strong> The Arts Council of Pakistan Larkana organized a musical night on the occasion of Pakistan\u2019s 79th Independence Day, where renowned artists from Sindh enthralled the audience with their performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The musical night was held at the Open-Air Theatre on the night of August 14. Prominent singers and performers from Sindh, including Diba Sahar, Laila Soorat, Shabo Lal, Shabana Soorat, Ghulam Shabbir Saman, Jigar Jalal, Nadir Lashari, Raja Saman and Saleem Kumbhar, among others, showcased their talent. They performed national songs and Independence Day anthems, captivating the audience and making them sway to the music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Children from Sweet Home, an institution for orphaned children, also participated in the event. Dressed in military uniforms, the children presented tableaux highlighting the greatness and glory of Pakistan. Performer Barkat Baloch received widespread appreciation for his fire stunts and Balochi dance performances to national songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guests and Arts Council office-bearers jointly cut an Independence Day cake and offered special prayers for the security, prosperity and well-being of Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">District Council Larkana Chairman Ijaz Ahmed Laghari and Vice Chairman Asadullah Bhutto attended the musical night as special guests. Larkana Arts Council President Muhammad Ismail Jatoi, General Secretary Muhammad Hanif Sahag, Treasurer Abdul Nabi Sario, Deputy General Secretary Ashiq Dayo and other office-bearers warmly welcomed the participants. Renowned poet and writer Rizwan Gul performed the duties of stage compere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking on the occasion, special guest Ijaz Ahmed Laghari said that Pakistan was achieved as an independent homeland through the unparalleled sacrifices of the country\u2019s forefathers. He said that Pakistan Peoples Party founder chairman Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had given the country a democratic constitution and made Pakistan a nuclear power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He further said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had strengthened the country\u2019s defence system through missile technology, while PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had raised Pakistan\u2019s image through successful diplomacy. He also praised the Pakistan Army for responding effectively to an Indian military attack and bringing down enemy aircraft, saying that the armed forces\u2019 sacrifices and achievements deserved the nation\u2019s salute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laghari said Pakistan belonged to everyone and every citizen had to play an active role in ensuring the country\u2019s development, prosperity and security. He added that the people would always stand alongside the Pakistan Army in matters concerning national defence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his welcome address, Arts Council General Secretary Muhammad Hanif Sahag thanked all the participants for attending the event.
