A special ceremony was organized to mark the national day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ceremony was formally inaugurated by District and Sessions Judge Ameer Ali Mahesar, who hoisted the national flag. <strong>Additional Deputy Commissioner (I) Muhammad Mustaqeem Qureshi<\/strong>, Additional District and Sessions Judges, Senior Civil Judges, Civil Judges, office-bearers of the District Bar Association, lawyer leaders, and a large number of judicial staff attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the flag hoisting, a smartly uniformed police contingent presented a salute to the national flag, while all participants respectfully stood for the national anthem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing the ceremony, District and Sessions Judge <strong>Ameer Ali Mahesar<\/strong> said that Independence Day reminds the nation of the unprecedented sacrifices made by its forefathers for the creation of a free homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said that justice and the rule of law are fundamental pillars of a free and sovereign society. He added that judges and lawyers are making efforts to provide justice to people at their doorsteps and to uphold the principles of fairness and equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the Independence Day tree plantation campaign, a sapling was also planted within the premises of the Judicial Complex.
