The meeting was jointly chaired by Provincial Election Commissioner Ejaz Ahmed Chauhan and Sukkur Division Commissioner Abid Saleem Qureshi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DIG Sukkur Nasir Aftab, Regional Election Commissioner Sukkur Adnan Bashir, District Returning Officer Abdul Waheed Baloch, Deputy Commissioner Khairpur Altaf Ahmed Chachar, SSP Khairpur Saud Ahmed Magsi, District Election Commissioner Khairpur Naeem-ur-Rehman Jalbani, as well as officers and representatives of the Directorate of Schools and Colleges, Assistant Commissioner Sobho Dero, Information Department, DHO Khairpur, PPHI, Education Department, Rescue, NADRA, SEPCO, Rangers and other relevant departments attended the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing the meeting, Provincial Election Commissioner Ejaz Ahmed Chauhan said that all necessary arrangements for the PS-30 Khairpur by-election had been completed. He said appointments of Assistant Returning Officers, Presiding Officers and other relevant election staff had been finalized, while election personnel had also been provided formal training regarding their polling duties to ensure that the electoral process was completed smoothly and without disruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He directed the concerned authorities to ensure strict compliance with the Election Commission\u2019s Code of Conduct during the election campaign. He made it clear that government employees must refrain from any political activity or unlawful interference in the electoral process and perform their duties impartially and in accordance with the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Provincial Election Commissioner also appealed to journalists to immediately report any untoward incident or violation of the Code of Conduct observed during the elections through the contact channels provided by the Election Commission, so that timely legal and administrative action could be taken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the occasion, Sukkur Division Commissioner Abid Saleem Qureshi said that the primary objective of the meeting was to ensure effective coordination and cooperation among all relevant institutions for conducting the PS-30 by-election in a free, fair and transparent manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Commissioner directed SEPCO authorities to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply on polling day and make certain that all polling stations had continuous power.
