SUKKUR (Bureau Report):<\/strong> An All-Parties Conference titled \u201cMessage of Freedom\u201d<\/strong> was organized at the Sukkur Press Club by the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League<\/strong> in connection with Independence Day. Political and religious leaders, Ulema, religious scholars, members of the business community, journalists, intellectuals and civil society representatives attended the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference focused on national security, unity, sovereignty, economic stability, public welfare and the need to further promote the spirit of patriotism and love for Pakistan. Speakers stressed that national interests should be placed above political differences and that collective efforts were required to address the country\u2019s political, economic and social challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the conference, Muhammad Ashraf Bajwa<\/strong>, President of the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League Sukkur Division, said the primary purpose of organizing the All-Parties Conference was to raise public awareness about Independence Day, strengthen the spirit of love for Pakistan and promote patriotism, loyalty to the country and national unity among the younger generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League was organizing various Independence Day programmes across the country, from Karachi to Gilgit-Baltistan<\/strong>, to highlight the importance of freedom and national unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Bajwa, special programmes would be arranged in schools, including Independence Day ceremonies, sports competitions, women\u2019s programmes and rallies for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He announced that a grand Independence Caravan<\/strong> would be organized in Sukkur on August 14<\/strong>, starting from Global Chowk and proceeding to Sukkur Press Club<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bajwa said Pakistan was more precious to its citizens than their lives and that every Pakistani should play a constructive role in ensuring the country\u2019s security, progress and prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League was bringing together people from different sections of society on a common platform to spread the message of national unity and patriotism and to highlight the true spirit of Independence Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that it was important to familiarize the younger generation with the objectives and historical circumstances surrounding the creation of Pakistan so that they could better understand their responsibilities toward the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on the occasion, Qari Muhammad Usman<\/strong> said the central message of the conference was that Pakistan had been established on the ideological foundation of \u201cLa ilaha illallah\u201d<\/strong> and that protecting the country\u2019s ideological identity, national unity and Islamic values was a collective responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the nation would have to demonstrate unity, consensus and mutual cooperation to make Pakistan stronger, stable and prosperous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qari Muhammad Usman also welcomed cooperation and unity between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and other brotherly Muslim countries. He said greater cooperation among Muslim states could play an important role in strengthening the collective security, dignity and standing of the Muslim world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He prayed that more Muslim countries would join efforts aimed at promoting mutual cooperation and unity and that all Islamic countries would achieve greater development, prosperity and stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qari Muhammad Usman also praised the role of Pakistan\u2019s state institutions in maintaining national security and stability. He described the Pakistan Armed Forces as a source of pride for the nation<\/strong> and prayed for their safety and success in defending the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other speakers emphasized that Independence Day should not be viewed merely as an occasion for celebrations and festivities. Instead, they said, it should be regarded as an opportunity to renew the national commitment to Pakistan and its future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They stressed that political differences should be set aside whenever the national interest is at stake. According to the speakers, the country\u2019s progress and stability require collective efforts focused on constitutional supremacy, the rule of law, justice, democratic values, economic stability, education, healthcare and public welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants said Pakistan was facing a number of political, economic and social challenges, which could only be addressed through unity, cooperation and a shared national vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They called upon political and religious parties, the business community, Ulema, journalists, intellectuals, young people and civil society organizations to play a constructive role in national development and in finding solutions to public problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference participants also reaffirmed their commitment to Pakistan\u2019s sovereignty, territorial integrity, security and stability<\/strong>. They expressed the resolve that any attempt to undermine the country\u2019s national interests would be resisted through unity and collective action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants appealed to citizens to celebrate Independence Day with national spirit and responsibility. They urged people to hoist the national flag, decorate their homes and neighbourhoods and participate actively in Independence Day programmes as an expression of their love for Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the organizers, a wide range of activities are being arranged across the country, from Karachi to Gilgit-Baltistan, as part of the Independence Day celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These activities include All-Parties Conferences, school ceremonies, sports competitions, programmes for women and rallies involving children. The Independence Caravan planned in Sukkur for August 14 was described as an important part of these nationwide activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organizers said such programmes were intended to strengthen national awareness, particularly among young people, and encourage citizens to understand the responsibilities that accompany freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speakers also emphasized that national development requires the participation of all segments of society. They said political leaders, religious scholars, traders, journalists, students, professionals and members of civil society all have a role to play in strengthening the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants reiterated that Pakistan\u2019s sovereignty and independence should be protected through responsible citizenship, strong institutions, economic progress and national solidarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference concluded with a special prayer for the security, sovereignty, stability, development and prosperity of Pakistan<\/strong>, as well as for the protection of the Pakistan Armed Forces, unity among Muslim countries and the welfare of the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event ended with participants reaffirming their commitment to promoting patriotism, national unity and collective responsibility as the country prepares to celebrate its Independence Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
