ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) has issued its astronomical prediction regarding the sighting of the new moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 Hijri<\/strong>, stating that the crescent is expected to become visible in Pakistan in the coming days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a spokesperson for SUPARCO, the new moon marking the beginning of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 Hijri is expected to be born on August 12, 2026, at 10:37 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The astronomical prediction provides important information about the age and visibility of the crescent before the beginning of the Islamic month. However, the final decision regarding the start of Rabi-ul-Awwal will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of Pakistan<\/strong> after receiving and evaluating moon-sighting reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
