ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has issued an alert for doctors whose medical licenses have expired and announced action against those who fail to renew them within the prescribed period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the PMDC, doctors with expired licenses have been advised to complete the renewal process to maintain their legal status for medical practice. The council has decided to take action against doctors who do not renew their licenses within six months of expiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PMDC stated that the licenses of doctors who fail to renew them within six months will be cancelled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The regulatory body has also made it clear that doctors engaged in clinical practice must have an active and valid license. Doctors whose licenses have expired or have been cancelled will not be permitted to continue clinical practice unless they meet the applicable requirements and obtain the necessary authorization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
