The ministry accused the Houthis of pushing Yemen into regional conflicts in pursuit of external agendas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement, the ministry further alleged that the Houthis had damaged Yemen&#8217;s economy and contributed to sectarian divisions among the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A spokesperson for the Yemeni military said the latest military action was conducted in response to what authorities described as hostile and treacherous actions by the Houthis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The development follows an attack in Yemen&#8217;s Marib province on Friday that reportedly killed at least 10 people.
