Six whales died after becoming stranded on the coast of New Zealand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the British news agency BBC, a large number of whales were stranded on a remote beach on New Zealand\u2019s South Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Media reports stated that nearly 55 pilot whales were stranded along the shoreline. Most of them were successfully returned to the sea, but unfortunately, 15 whales became badly stranded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reports indicate that the stranded whales were spread across approximately one kilometer of the beach, of which six whales died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Efforts to rescue the whales are being carried out by the non-governmental organization Project Jonah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is worth noting that whales have previously died after becoming stranded on New Zealand\u2019s coasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
