{"id":10019,"date":"2026-08-08T11:05:51","date_gmt":"2026-08-08T11:05:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=10019"},"modified":"2026-08-08T11:05:52","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T11:05:52","slug":"india-closely-watching-pakistan-saudi-arabia-turkiye-defence-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=10019","title":{"rendered":"India Closely Watching Pakistan-Saudi Arabia-T\u00fcrkiye Defence Agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NEW DELHI:<\/strong> India has reacted to the historic defence agreement signed by <strong>Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and T\u00fcrkiye<\/strong>, saying it is closely monitoring the development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson <strong>Randhir Jaiswal<\/strong> said during a weekly media briefing that India is keeping a close watch on the defence agreement between the three countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said India was following the development closely and would continue to keep the media informed about its assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and T\u00fcrkiye recently signed a <strong>joint defence agreement<\/strong> under which an attack on one of the three countries would be considered an attack on all three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement was signed during a trilateral defence summit held at <strong>Qasr Al-Safa in Makkah<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saudi Crown Prince <strong>Mohammed bin Salman<\/strong>, Turkish President <strong>Recep Tayyip Erdogan<\/strong>, and Pakistani Prime Minister <strong>Shehbaz Sharif<\/strong> attended the summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Pakistan&#8217;s Foreign Office, representatives of the three countries signed the agreement, which has been described as the <strong>Makkah Defence Joint Agreement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement is aimed at strengthening defence cooperation and enhancing coordination among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The development has attracted regional attention, with India becoming one of the countries closely following the new defence arrangement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Indian foreign ministry spokesperson said New Delhi would continue to monitor developments related to the agreement and provide further information when necessary.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI: India has reacted to the historic defence agreement signed by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and T\u00fcrkiye, saying it is closely monitoring the development.
