KHAIRPUR MIR’S (Correspondent): The constitutional meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Taluka Khairpur Mirs was held at Jamia Madani Mosque Daro Bhaya, under the chairmanship of the esteemed Ameer, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Hazrat Maulana Ubaidullah Solangi.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted with great discipline and seriousness by the Taluka General Secretary, Hazrat Maulana Mufti Ehsanullah Gambhir. The event was graced by two distinguished scholars — Sheikh-ul-Hadith wal-Tafseer Hazrat Maulana Mufti Saud Afzal Halijvi, Joint Secretary JUI Pakistan, and Sheikh-ul-Hadith Hazrat Maulana Sain Muhammad Ramzan Phulpoto, Provincial Joint Secretary JUI Sindh — who participated as special guests.
Both scholars delivered comprehensive and spiritually enriching speeches, focusing on organizational strategy, the responsibilities of Islamic preaching, and the values of sincerity, steadfastness, and commitment in serving the cause of religion.
During the meeting, written reports from various organizational units were presented, and important internal matters were discussed in detail. The participants reviewed the ongoing religious, social, and organizational activities within the region and assessed the challenges facing the party at the grassroots level.
The leaders expressed grave concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Khairpur and its surrounding areas, citing the alarming rise in street crimes, thefts, robberies, and growing social unrest. They urged the local administration and law enforcement agencies to take immediate and effective steps to restore peace and protect citizens’ lives and property.
The JUI leadership warned that if the situation did not improve, the organization would have no choice but to launch a protest movement across the Taluka to press for action. They stressed that maintaining peace and order is not just the government’s duty but also a collective social responsibility, and the state must fulfill its obligations to ensure public safety.
Speakers also emphasized unity among the Ulema, encouraging them to remain steadfast in their mission of guiding society through wisdom and patience. They reminded the participants that moral reform and religious education are vital tools to counter social disorder and promote justice and harmony in the community.
