Islamabad:
The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has restrained the police from arresting PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in connection with five different cases, including the May 9 riots.

The court, presided over by Judge Afzal Majoka, heard the bail petitions filed by the PTI founder and others. The cases against Imran Khan include those related to May 9 incidents, attempted murder, and fake receipts, while Bushra Bibi faces charges of submitting alleged fake receipts.

After reviewing the petitions, the court extended the interim pre-arrest bail of both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi and barred their arrest until November 25 in all relevant cases.

Furthermore, the court directed that Imran Khan be presented either in person or via video link during the next hearing. The court then adjourned the proceedings until November 25, when arguments on the bail pleas will continue.
