The Clifton Police have successfully arrested two suspects involved in motorcycle theft and recovered a stolen bike during a targeted operation based on intelligence reports.
According to the District South Police spokesperson, the operation was carried out by a team from the Clifton Police Station, which led to the arrest of two individuals identified as Manoj, son of Harji, and Ali Raza, son of Muhammad Sajjad.
During the operation, police recovered a black 2021 model Unique 70cc motorcycle, bearing registration number KOZ-0572, from the possession of the suspects.
Further investigation revealed that the recovered motorcycle was reported stolen under FIR No. 848/25, registered at Boat Basin Police Station under Section 381-A of the Pakistan Penal Code (theft by a servant or employee).
Police sources confirmed that both arrested men are habitual offenders with previous records of arrests and imprisonment in various theft and street crime cases across different police stations.
After initial interrogation, the arrested suspects were handed over to the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) Investigation Wing for further legal proceedings and investigation into possible links with other vehicle theft cases in the city.
The SSP District South Police praised the swift action of the Clifton Police team and reiterated the department’s commitment to continuing operations against professional criminals involved in vehicle theft, snatching, and other street crimes.
