Samsung has officially unveiled the latest addition to its popular M-series, the Galaxy M17, which is being praised for its impressive camera setup, multiple memory options, and strong performance — all within a budget-friendly price range.
The Galaxy M17 is essentially an upgraded version of the Galaxy F17, which itself was a rebranded model of the Galaxy A17, making the M17 the third iteration in this product line. Despite the shared lineage, it stands out as the most affordable model among the three.
Equipped with a 6.7-inch display, the M17 offers a sleek design, a responsive fingerprint sensor, and advanced security features. Powering the device is a massive 5,000 mAh battery paired with a 25W fast charger, ensuring long-lasting performance and quick recharging.
Samsung has introduced the M17 in three RAM variants — 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB — all coupled with 128GB of internal storage, offering users flexibility depending on their multitasking and storage needs.
On the camera front, the M17 delivers solid imaging capabilities. The rear triple-camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. Meanwhile, the 13MP front camera is designed for clear and bright selfies, enhanced with AI-driven photography modes.
According to Samsung, the M17’s camera technology has been improved compared to previous M-series models, offering sharper details and better low-light performance.
Initially, the smartphone has been launched in select international markets, with pricing adjusted according to local currencies. Once introduced in Pakistan, the expected retail price of the Galaxy M17 will likely range between Rs. 55,000 and Rs. 65,000, depending on configuration and region.
With its balanced combination of performance, camera quality, and affordability, the Galaxy M17 is set to become a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone segment, especially among users seeking premium features without a hefty price tag.
