Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif presided over a four-hour long review meeting, where she received detailed briefings from eight provincial departments and finalized several important decisions.
During the session, the Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the provision of medical facilities to 1.15 million people in flood-affected areas. She highlighted that 174 snakebite cases were reported during the floods; however, timely availability of vaccines at flood relief camps ensured that all lives were saved.
The meeting reflected the provincial government’s emphasis on improving departmental efficiency, ensuring effective relief measures, and addressing public needs in crisis-hit areas. Maryam Nawaz reaffirmed her government’s commitment to prioritizing health and disaster management preparedness in Punjab.
