Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has expressed strong confidence that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will stage a major comeback in the next general elections, surprising its rivals, and that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will rise to the office of Prime Minister through the people’s mandate.
Speaking to party workers in Gujrat, the Governor said that the PPP has already re-established its presence in Lahore, as demonstrated by the massive turnout at its recent public gathering. According to him, the show of strength in Lahore has rattled other political parties, signaling that the PPP is regaining its lost political ground in Punjab.
He assured the party’s loyalists that the PPP would not abandon its workers or its grassroots supporters, emphasizing that more major rallies would soon be organized in Gujrat and across Punjab to mobilize people’s support.
Sardar Saleem Haider Khan reiterated that the PPP is prepared to surprise the political landscape in the upcoming elections, stressing that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s leadership represents the aspirations of the youth and the common people. He predicted that Bilawal will secure the Prime Ministership with a decisive public mandate, positioning the PPP once again at the heart of Pakistan’s political future.
