The proceedings, which took place in the district courts of Lahore, saw Ducky Bhai presented before the judicial magistrate. However, the start of the hearing was postponed by approximately ten minutes as the court awaited the arrival of his lawyer. Upon the arrival of Advocate Usman Mushtaq, the defense requested the court for an opportunity for their client to address the bench.
